NE/NW Crescent Heights

North of the river has a whole different ambiance and can feel like you are in a smaller and quieter community. The quieter, slower pace may just be a feeling though, as the community has a busy quaint 1950s style commercial main street and a developing big-box shopping district. The newly expanded Family Leisure Centre located near the big box district is a true gem and is the type of recreational facility only found in cities much larger than Medicine Hat.  The areas north of the river are quiet, unique and offer some of the most spectacular views of downtown, the river and the iconic Medicine Hat cliffs. The north end has both mature, well treed, areas and new developing neighbourhoods. The neighbourhoods are primarily single-family dwellings, with a few condo and apartment choices as well.
